If there’s something I really don’t like about the country I have been living in for so long (aka Switzerland), it’s seeing dogs everywhere: in the streets, shops and in restaurants.

It’s really amazing how the people here who take care of keeping the country clean, neat and organized, seem to forget about hygiene! I mean, I know that if a dog enters a restaurant in many other countries, they shut it down. But here, it’s normal to see a dog in a restaurant and it sort of puts me off. Imagine if the waiter pets the dog and then serves you ewww!!! Someone once told me that she was in Martel, a famous coffee shop here, when a dog peed and the waitress cleaned it with a tea towel. I don’t want to think if they washed that towel or threw it away ekkkhhh! I also heard that the only McDonalds in the world that allows dogs is here.

Yeah I got used to it but I just don’t understand why dogs have to go everywhere, like say shopping as well!Once a huge dog, about the size of a horse jumped on my kid and since that day, he gets really scared of dogs, he used to be fine before. I remember once I went to Selfridges and a woman was making a fuss at the door, with a small dog (she looked like Legally blonde with her puppy lol) and was trying to convince the guy to let her in, telling im that she will carry him and all that but he said  no way I am sorry Madame. Even in open places like Bisceter Village they are not allowed and I really like that. I feel comfortable when I walk in the streets there but here, I have to look you know, it’s annoying. Sometimes kids pass by and I mistake them for dogs, poor kids lol and I suddenly jump before realizing they are kids. 

Dogs should be taken for strolls in the parks, fields and open places where they can play and run, not taken shopping!! I even think the dogs themselves get bored! Anyways, I hope one day this will change, which I highly doubt, but at least in restaurants and cafes. And sorry for a gross subject while you folks are fasting lol!

• Edgware Road.
• The Traffic ( we got stuck on the road for 4 hours last time to arrive to Bluewater mall, which meant we arrived 1 hour before closing
• When I see trash on the streets.
• When it’s too crowded.
• I don’t mind seeing Arabs/Kuwaitis (considering I am one lol) but I hate it when they overdress, looking like idiots! And what is it with the cars they bring with them from their countries ONLY for show off in the holidays?!! We had that also in Switzerland.. Showing off their Porches and Ferraris, we KNOW you can afford it!
• I am not so fond of the medical care there. Compared to like 20 years ago, it became more financial.. and I see a huge difference between England and Switzerland. Unless you know an old doctor maybe.. 
• Taxis who don’t stop when I am waving lol!

1. The London symphony ( the sounds of buses, taxis, ambulace and police cars lol)
2. 99 ice-cream.. YUM!
3. Mulberry.
4. Regent Street.
5. Harrods shopping bags: the ones they usually sell at the airport.
6. Football! And Gary Linker in Match of the Day.
7. Morning Tv programmes.
8. The supermarkets.
9. Pret a Manger.
10. John Lewis.
11. Bluewater Mall.
12. Millie’s Muffins.
13. The Taxi.
14. The one pound coin.
15. Lakeland Limited.
16. The bookstores and magazines.
17. Flake.
18. Persian restaurants.
19. The cinema.
20. The accent.

I don’t know if I can post from there or not. and my ticket is still not confirmed lol we are the worst planners! If we plan, we never stick to it!

but I guess sometime tomorrow I am going..

It’s not easy being part of this world..

Too much hatred..

Too many fights..

Too much self pride and dignity is no good trust me.. SCREW el Karama! I call it arrogance and it’s not something to be proud of!

Even if you are wrong or right, it doesn’t matter any more..

At least not to me.. It makes the person appear so small and childish to me..

The bigger stronger person to me is the one who can step up and say sorry.. or try to fix things even if he/she didn’t do anything wrong..

It breaks my heart when I see those I love kill each other verbally and I can’t do anything..

I just sit, hear and watch .. since nobody listens to the ‘invisible’ me and my ‘useless’ opinions.

How are we going to teach our kids good values if the adults are acting like this?!

That is why it keeps going from generation to generation, because we are passing those ideals to our kids..

Because we teach them about ‘pride’ rather than ‘having a big heart’..

Because we teach them that ‘appearances matter’..

Because we teach them that having a strong personality is by being arrogant..

Because we teach them about getting back at someone (wrong or right, doesn’t matter!) instead of forgive and forget..

I went to Disneyland in Paris. It’s the 15th Anniversary of the park.. I have been there when it was the 5th anni and the 10th anni.. isn’t that cool? loooool

My little son didn’t like anything, only Micky Mouse and wanted to take his autogragh over and over again lol!

I know i haven’t been posting lately.. I was a bit tired, plus family came and got busy..

Anyways, you know my almost 3 year old (He will be 3 on the 12th of July)? Well, he seems to have a crush on a girl in the nursary. He goes on like “Yasmin 7ilwa (pretty)”  and ” A7eb Yasmin (I love Yasmin)”. One day, I went to take pictures of him, and then he said “Take a picture of Yasmin” . Two days ago, she was sick and didn’t come, and he was upset ” Yasmin Ma yat eskool (Yasmin didn’t come to school) “.  When I tell him i don’t like this Yasmin girl, he gets VERY angry and starts to give me those ‘Don’t you dare say that’ look!!

Should I worry? loooool

Moreover, one day I went and when he said goodbye to the other kids, a girl came up and said “a kiss? and she kissed him on the cheeks (Thank God). But the next day i went to pick him up, TWO girls came and said  ”a kiss?” and kissed him on the mouth! I was like Oiiiii back off! Maybe I should inform the girls’ parents to put some sense into those girls and my son is soooooo grounded!!!
