Back..
August 12, 2008 at 7:59 am | In Family, Fun Stuff, Kuwait, My Kids, Pissed Off!, Thoughts | 22 CommentsIt’s not easy being part of this world..
Too much hatred..
Too many fights..
Too much self pride and dignity is no good trust me.. SCREW el Karama! I call it arrogance and it’s not something to be proud of!
Even if you are wrong or right, it doesn’t matter any more..
At least not to me.. It makes the person appear so small and childish to me..
The bigger stronger person to me is the one who can step up and say sorry.. or try to fix things even if he/she didn’t do anything wrong..
It breaks my heart when I see those I love kill each other verbally and I can’t do anything..
I just sit, hear and watch .. since nobody listens to the ‘invisible’ me and my ‘useless’ opinions.
How are we going to teach our kids good values if the adults are acting like this?!
That is why it keeps going from generation to generation, because we are passing those ideals to our kids..
Because we teach them about ‘pride’ rather than ‘having a big heart’..
Because we teach them that ‘appearances matter’..
Because we teach them that having a strong personality is by being arrogant..
Because we teach them about getting back at someone (wrong or right, doesn’t matter!) instead of forgive and forget..

Sorry for such a lame ‘I’m back’ post but I had to let it go somewhere since I can’t do anything else.

I hope you are enjoying the summer..

My little son didn’t like anything, only Micky Mouse and wanted to take his autogragh over and over again lol!
Anyways, I will try to post more inshallah.. and take care!

Smoking in Public
June 11, 2008 at 2:24 pm | In Education, Health, Beauty & Fitness, Kuwait, Pissed Off!, Thoughts | 19 Comments
Ok I don’t care if you smoke or not. You can kill yourself with your own hands for all that matters I DON’T care BUT please when you are in public, just don’t do it!
I was in a cafe yesterday, and I felt suffocated in there, everyone was smoking. I don’t get why people come to eat AND smoke. Isn’t a restaurant a place to eat? I noticed that here, more women than men smoke. Most of them wear trendy cloths and are stick thin. I don’t know what’s up with that but anyways, don’t they think of how much they annoy and harm non-smokers, kids, older people, sick people and pregnant ladies?
Read this:
… Do You Know What Can Happen to other people while inhaling that filth?
1. When people smoke, those around them are affected both by smoke from a burning cigarette and by second-hand or passive smoke- this is the smoke that the smoker blows back out after inhaling.
2. Passive smoke is worse than the smoke that a smoker inhales from a cigarette- passive smoke is much more concentrated
What happens to children when they are around passive smoke:
✦ More respiratory illnesses, including asthma
✦ Growth may be slowed
✦ Increased chance of having chronic lung disease as an adult
O bas, I hope this country, the one I come from and the one I am currently living in, considers banning smoking in public places.

Showroom
May 27, 2008 at 4:48 pm | In Fashion, Kuwait, Shopping | 9 CommentsMy cousin went to a showroom in a house in Jabriya. She bought a Chopard bag for 180 KD. They have mostly Chloe, some Jimmy Choo bags, all good prices and original. They also have shoes for men, women and kids: Roberto Cavalli, Botecelli, Casadei, and many other things including Canali suits and shirts for men.
If anyone’s interested, here’s the address:
Al-Jabriya
Block 9
Street 3
House 32

May 19, 2008 at 9:06 am | In Kuwait, Life, Me Myself & I, Thoughts | 11 Comments- Although I was not in the voting thing going on in Kuwait, I got annoyed at the results and felt sad that there are stupid citizens out there sadly.
- I didn’t know that those ‘mindless’ parliament members get a salary?! loooooooool 3ala shino ya 7athi!
- It’s raining.
- My neck is killing me.. Shino el 7al ya rabbi!
- Abi baskoot O 7aleeb.
- I miss Kuwaiti supermarkets. Sometimes I want something in the middle of the night and BAM, everything is closed by 7 here. Uffff.. not to mention Sundays they are closed too. But I love CooP.

- Nothing home delivers here, except for Domino’s pizza.
- I need to take my son to the creche now, it’s 9.10.
- See you later.

What’s the point?
The women are stupid WHY are they voting for usless men while we know if they don’t vote for men, women CAN make it to the parliament? We all know we are the higher voters!
The Voting
May 16, 2008 at 10:23 pm | In Kuwait, Thoughts | 21 CommentsOk I hate politics and all that but since everywhere I turn, blog, websites, people.. all the talk is about the voting..
So here’s something I noticed:
The funny thing I noticed, in many blogs and people I met, spoke to about the voting: Their lists seem to be consisting of all Shia or All Sunni. Hardly did I find a mix of both! Why? Do you think people are voting according to Islamic beliefs? It’s sad if that is true
but I guess many do, although they say no but I believe they do..
Mako fayda lol!
UPDATE: Ta3alaw, chinna nobody is voting for women? Why? LooL ok since we didn’t see anything productive from men, maybe it’s time to see what a woman can do
El Diwaniyya
March 18, 2008 at 12:09 pm | In Kuwait, Nothingness | 14 Comments- Ya3ni I want to know, if you don’t have room inside your home, why do you build one outside your home? I am really glad they are removing all of them.
- O ba3ad four or five brothers, each one has a diwaniyya of his own. Why? Leesh? I remember when my father used to go, they were limited and it was better. Now, because there are too many, there’s not enough time to visit all of them. That is why we have morning, lunchtime and afternoon diwaniyya. How many hours are left of the day?!
- Why do you have to go everyday?
