For inventing the insulin pump. I don’t know if I could manage with his diabetes by giving him a shot before each meal.

The Creche

My son started to go to the creche last week. It’s been two weeks and they are still worried about the diabetes thing. I mean, I feel they don’t want to take the responsibility or are afraid to I don’t know. But his diabetes nurse said they have to learn and adapt to him. He has to live his life like other kids do.

Anyways, here they have two weeks adaptation thing, where the kid goes for one hour the first two days and then 1 hour and 30 minutes the next three days. First with me and slowly I leave him. But today they told me he needs two more weeks! I mean, the boy doesn’t even want to leave when I pick him up! He’s ok, his diabetes shouldn’t stop him from having fun!

Uffff I am so upset this is so hard. How is he going to manage school later on??  :(
